No.1 in Decorative Glass Stained Glass Overlay (SGO) was founded in 1974 by Donald and Dellicia Butler, who after visiting Winchester Cathedral and having been so impresssed by its windows decided to try and recreate the splendour of traditional stained glass at a far more economical price using a modern method. The global network now boasts over 300 individual studios of which there are 14 in the UK. Glasgow is one of only two studios in Scotland. SGO are the coutry's leading suppliers of decorative glass to the window trade, architects and private customers. Exclusive materials used by SGO studios are not generally available on the open market therefore our product is not easy to copy. This means that we are able to guarantee the quality and exclusivity of our designs, ensuring that products supplied to SGO customers are undoubtly the best.
